Located on 125 acres in Legacy, this facility is a two million square foot, three story office building serving 4,500 employees.  Adjacent to the headquarters to a two acre terraced courtyard which serves as the central focus to building users.

The goal for the site was to create a rolling prairie with bold strokes of tree masses following the ‘channels’ or pedestrian circulation networks.  The site was divided into zones of intensity, with the center being a garden courtyard and the perimeter edge functioning in a less maintained ‘prairie like’ condition.  Grading of the site was integral to the concept of creating strong land forms responding to prairie like conditions and sequential viewing of the headquarters.  The central feature of the entrance arrival is a seven acre detention lake with strolling walks linking the lake and overall site.

Coy Talley served as project designer at Johnson, Johnson & Roy for this project.
