Frisco Town Square is located at the heart of the City of Frisco’s new town center, which is being developed as the result of a unique planning partnership between the City of Frisco and the development community. This new town center will consist of the 225,000 square foot City Hall and Public Library, 1,900 residential dwelling units, over 500,000 square feet of retail and approximately 1.9 million square feet of office space.
Frisco Town Square is the major public gathering space for the City, and is the setting for the new City Hall and Public Library. The park has expanses of lawn to accommodate major outdoor civic events and celebrations, while still providing more intimate areas for smaller gatherings and individual relaxation. The creation of these more intimate spaces is achieved through the use of subtle grade changes and a sensitive planting design scheme that creates defined outdoor rooms without the obscuring views and compromising safety and security. Water features provide visual interest and the soothing sound of bubbling and flowing water. Large trees planted along the edges of the park provide much-needed shade.
