Significant to Keller Town Center is Town Lake Park. 50 acres of natural floodway is set aside for 'mitigation banking.' Lakes are created within the drainage way for sedimentation control, wildlife habitat is preserved and enhanced with plant species diversity, and several miles of trail systems connect passive park uses with the town center. Over seven acres of lakes with carefully designed land forms serve as the park focal point replacing what was once a trapezoidal drainage channel. An amphitheater integrated into the natural topography is designed with town hall related uses as well as plazas and central gathering spaces for town hall events.
